Mike Niemtzow

Managing Partner

Michael Niemtzow is an investor in, and owns and operates various companies ranging from real estate to medical services to technology. Prior to this role, he spent seven years as an investment banker structuring and executing deals for companies and private equity firms. He is based in New York City and, as a banker, has worked at Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and Moelis & Co. He has consummated transactions totaling approximately $10 billion for leading companies around the world. In addition, he has advised premier private equity firms such as KKR, TH Lee, Carlyle Group and One Equity Partners. His experience includes initial public offerings, secondary offerings and debt financings, as well as strategic, defense and M&A assignments including complex Reverse Morris Trust transactions. While at Lehman Brothers, he was elected to the Global Advisory Council.

 

Prior to working on Wall Street, Mr. Niemtzow served four years as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) achieving the rank of Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, stationed out of San Diego, and deployed twice to the Middle East to enforce UN sanctions against Iraq. He graduated cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1998 and earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU, where he met his wife.

Mr. Niemtzow is Vice President of the Board of Managers of The Monarch, a luxury condominium in New York City consisting of 253 units across 45 stories.
